 About the role

As a Marketing and Business Development Executive you will assist the BD managers in leading key projects and initiatives within the BD department.

Your duties will include:

  • Collaborate with BD Managers to implement strategies, build client relationships, and attract new clients.
  • Maintain a pipeline of business development activities and monitor performance metrics.
  • Provide day-to-day support to BD Managers, including email responses, diary management, and data collection for legal directories.
  • Support strategy implementation, event coordination, and relationship building across the business.
  • Conduct competitor pricing analysis and market research to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Assist with website and social media content creation, editing, and maintenance.
  • Help create tender submissions, fee proposals, and legal directory submissions.
  • Coordinate with external resources for advertisement design.
  • Stay updated on legal industry developments and engage fee-earners in updating personal data from contacts and clients.
  • Ensuring all systems and weekly reports are updated accurately and completed on time.

The ideal candidate

To be considered for this position you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Proven experience in marketing or business development within the legal or professional services sector.
  • Proficiency in MS applications and social media platforms.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, creative, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to prioritise, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Confidence in collaborating with individuals at all levels in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
